What is Eccentric Reducer?
An eccentric reducer is a fitting in piping systems that connects two pipes of various sizes. You may use the same fitting in reverse to create an expander or eccentric increaser. They are used when the diameter of the pipe on the upstream side of the fitting (where the flow starts) is greater than the downstream side and there is a risk of moisture development. Eccentric reducers, as compared to concentric reducers, which like spheres, have an edge parallel to the connecting pipe known as the flat side. Both pipes have offset center lines as a result of this parallel edge.
Max Pipes & Fittings INC. is a leading manufacturer, supplier, dealer, and exporter of Eccentric Reducer, which are available in a variety of sizes and dimensions to meet the needs of our legitimate clients and are delivered with a complete set of technical test results. Our stainless steel eccentric reducers are in great demand after in a variety of industries due to their superior corrosion resistance and great connectivity. We supply Eccentric Reducers that meet ASME, EN, ISO, and DIN standards. ANSI/ASME B16.9 Eccentric Reducers are used in a wide range of sectors, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, food processing, and wastewater treatment plants.

Table Of Content
Horizontal liquid reducers typically have an eccentric, with the flat side on top, to prevent the formation of air bubbles in the system (except on a control set, such as PV, TV, HV, or LV) or in a pipe rack. To ensure that the bottom of the pipe remains steady and is supported by the rack, an eccentric reducer's flat side is positioned at the bottom of the pipe rack. To make sure air doesn't build up in the pipe, eccentric reducers are utilized on the suction side of pumps. A concentric reducer's slow buildup of air may produce a sizable bubble that, when pushed into the pump, may eventually cause it to stall or cause damage.

Stainless steel reducers are commonly used in piping systems to connect pipes of different sizes. They are designed to facilitate the transition from a larger pipe diameter to a smaller one or vice versa.
Inconel reducers are pipe fittings made from Inconel, a nickel-based alloy known for its excellent high-temperature and corrosion-resistant properties. Inconel is commonly used in demanding environments where resistance to extreme temperatures, pressure, and corrosive substances is required.
Hastelloy reducers are pipe fittings made from Hastelloy, a family of nickel-based alloys known for their exceptional corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength.
Monel reducers are pipe fittings made from Monel, a group of nickel-copper alloys known for their excellent corrosion resistance and high strength.
Alloy steel reducers are pipe fittings made from alloy steels, which are steel alloys that contain additional elements such as chromium, molybdenum, nickel, or vanadium.
